When the Democratic presidential candidates gather in Charleston , S.C. , on Monday for their next debate, the format will feature YouTube video questions from voters.

this youtube question the candidates thing seems like it may be a passing fad, but who knows? it says anderson cooper picks the questions though, so it's not as if you're taking power out of someone's hands.
