An Op/Ed piece yesterday which pretty much takes WP apart.

QUOTE
The WikiScanner is thus an important development in bringing down a pernicious influence on our intellectual life. Critics of the web decry the medium as the cult of the amateur. Wikipedia is worse than that; it is the province of the covert lobby. The most constructive course is to stand on the sidelines and jeer at its pretensions.

A general piece about the Wikiscanner business from the 15th

Another article about an "automated reputation management" software service which is designed to analyze data from things like WP....but it doesn't says exactly what the software does to handle these tyhpes of problems....hmmm.;...

Anyway, things are hoppin' aren't they??
