Does anyone know why the [[Richardson family murders]] article was deleted?

Deletion log:

19:52, 5 August 2007 Phil Sandifer (Talk | contribs) deleted "Richardson family murders" (Deleted for BLP issues - though one fact, that the murder had the youngest ever suspect for multiple murders, is notable, the other names getting caught in this article are not, and the piece of trivia does not justify this article.)

Speaking of deleted articles....

Does anyone remember the name of the GOP bigwig who played a prominent role in the 2000 or 2004 election 'caging' controversy, and who got the WMF to delete his article?

I know it was discussed here, but can't find it with a search for 'caging'

Help would be appreciated.

Thanks

But what the hell does that mean? How does BLP apply to the family members? They're dead.

There a lot of arguments now that they want to apply BLP to the recently dead or by extension their survivors. I am all for BLP, but honestly, there has to be line somewhere that some random dipshit can just make up. The fact that reversing an admins action is some taboo in things like this is insane.

So right. Piographies of Living people. The system operators know more about games than to tell that Living means Living not dead.

Found it!

Mark F. "Thor" Hearne must really want to hide something about his discredited past as the front man for the GOP front group calling themselves the American Center for Voting Rights (ACVR).

In the latest chapter of a string of attempts by Hearne to cleanse his public record as lead snake-oil salesman for the mysteriously-funded "non-partisan" group that he founded to push propaganda about a massive (if non-existent) Democratic 'voter fraud' epidemic, it seems his Wikipedia page has been expurgated of all references to the ACVR.
