Mt. Airy, the home of Meth

See the home town of Andy Griffith and see what it's famous for... according to wiki.

And the diffs of this interesting bit of trivia..

Hilarious catch, Joe! I'm still trying to picture just how a "Crack-Faced meth community" would look on a sign at the outskirts of town. biggrin.gif

I'm guessing a disgruntled local, or someone who has it in for Andy Griffith, did this one. Who knows? --meth actually is a bad problem in many areas of the rural US. sad.gif

I'm sort of partial to this one.

One about a serious crime reporter and journalist.

That's not funny. That's just typical BLP fare.

Exactly the point. Bluecock tries to vandalise, and obviously overdoes it to the point that the article becomes surreal,. Very overt stuff and easily picked up. But the ploy falls back on Bluecock, as he seems to be the one with the brain of a trout.

This is my personal favourite. A cut above the usual "Eric is a fagit" vandal.

That's not bad. They forgot to cite a source, though.

The funniest one for me was the murderous ReiserFS.

That one IS a classic, because sometimes the best humor is subtle.

Could not be allowed to stand of course. You find BLP violations in the oddest places, sometimes.

True, which is why just semi-protecting or closely monitoring BLPs is not a very good solution.

Um... it's not a complete solution, but it's better than not doing anything about BLPs, I think. Noone should fool themselves that it is all that is needed or that there might not be other problems.

And then sometimes you'll find BDP violations in the obvious places.
