then spell the same word with an "s" instead of a "z." Google that one.

This seems like a easy technical fix. Place both UK and US English in the article with appropriate tags identifying each. Set individual user preferences to either UK or US, each of which displays only the selected spelling. It is the kind of [us] labor[/us][uk] (labour) [/uk]effort that the 15 year old unskilled editors love and it builds edit counts.
