Apparently Wikipedia doesn't like film producer Don Murphy.

They don't say "ColScott" they say the real name.

They might as well write about it in Don Murphy's wikipedia article and then edit the ColScott entry on Wikipedia:List of banned users so it has the real name, too.

The appearance of malice is undeniable. We've all seen up close how ColScott behaves in these communities: banning him was a no-brainer. It's unbelievable that the Foundation chose to unblock him to begin with: instead of protecting him from the Wikipedia BLP attack machine, they gave him a platform to attack and harass others, exacerbating the feud while solving nothing.

Wikipedia started this flame war by attacking Mr. Murphy via his bio, and continues it as you've shown above. And they wonder why they're trolled?

The solution is to delete the bio and let Col Scott continue his life in peace.

Addendum: The hypocrisy of this behavior vs. the attitude towards outing of personal information by "attack sites" continues to astound.

Well, Wikipedia has decided that he is notable enough for his own article, ergo if he is notable enough for his own article therefore his real name can be made public.

But yet at the same time they have Ted Frank aka User:TedFrank who is now known as User:THF.

Ted Frank is a person of marginal notability, who has their own Wikipedia article. They even used their real name on Wikipedia to begin with. Now they've chosen to use their initials (THF) instead, and it is suddenly a crime to say their real name.

So why can't they do the same thing for Col Scott?

The difference of course is that Ted Frank is someone that they like, while Col Scott is someone that they don't like.
