I don't think Jimbo ever had checkuser rights, as seen from this log.

Since Feb 2006, he was the only steward on any wiki outside of Meta. It was what he used to desysop Zscout370. When this happened, there was some discussion on bugzilla. I think they then renamed the steward group to founder.

It's a bit irrelevant. I'm not sure if a steward as such can perform checkusers, but if not then he can make himself a checkuser whenever and wherever he wants.

I remember he was administrator, checkuser and had some other flag. Then checkuser changed to founder.

I think it's unfair Larry Sanger and Ben Kovitz don't get that flag.
