It doesn't even belong in the article - Governors (and Presidents) sign ceremonial proclamations all the time, usually without reading them. Does anyone on WP actually think this paragraph is relevant? Ehh, it isn't.

My guess is that the Republicans are trying to get people to stop reading the article at that point (by making it unreadable) so that people won't get to the far scarier sections regarding her far-right positions on anthropogenic climate change.

Just as well, I suppose, but now they're probably going to think User:Tombomp is me, when in fact I'd never heard of him until just now.

Maybe JzG will ban him for "doing WR's bidding"...
