[[Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rachel Uchitel]] an article on Tiger Woods alleged girlfriend, sources are pure gossip, BLP issues all over the place. If this gets kept, BLP will need a instant reformation.

Now you'll get shouted at for using this place to canvas afds.

The people here will not like it because WR is not here to help wikipedia.
The people on wikipedia will not like it, because this is rank treason coming to this evil place and interfering with the otherwise amazing wiki process.

Oh, for those interested, he wants you to go to this debate. But you really should not click that link, and definitely not vote there. Keep both WR and WP unsullied by such evil things.

It's not really canvassing, but this AFD explains everything what is wrong with our current BLP process, especially to topics currently in the news. Currently with our BLP is so vauge, it's problematic. It basically tells us that everything needs to be sourced, opening articles to so many people of these feel good stories, because the media loves these stories. We could all agree that they don't deserve articles, but there isn't a clear policy on these types of articles. There need to be a new policy in dealing with marginal BLPs, even with sourcing. We don't want wikipedia to become the news part 2.

I wouldn't call Rachel Uchitel an evil thing. Naughty, perhaps, but not evil. wink.gif

Now it was rightfully closed as Delete, but now on DRV.

I've tried this angle in several BLP AfDs, but it hasn't worked out so well so far. As corporate media has gone 24/7, full-blown tabloid-ish, the bar for being "reliably sourced" is much, much lower than it was just a few years ago.
