I have great interest in animation so I sometimes try to correct bugs an errors on the topic. But there is one topic that I seems that i cannot correct and that topic is Animated feature and on wikipedia exist an article that is so confusing and misleading it isn't even funny. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_anima...re-length_films

1. Its mix into it puppet films that are not animated on there and confuse a lot what actually animated film is.
2. It doesn't know how long feature film actaully is as I have seen films that are shorter than 40 mintues on there.
3. It doesn't realize what theaterical feature, TV feature and stright-to video product are diffrent release types shouldn't be mixed together as they are done on the article the main confusion point of the article.

I have many times tried to correct and clear out this confusion but http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Esn that originally crated the article seems to act like he owns the article although wikipedia seems too act that creators dont own the article. So I gave up several months ago to convince the idiot that better setup is needed. I resolved to start small only correct the American films this last weekend, http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Are You The Cow Of Pain argued it's only redundant list when he in his stubitiy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Art...d_feature_films nominted the american article for deleation and it seem that admins and other user bought his arguement and ignored my valid arguement of facualty correctness that wikipedia claims to be. As it somtimes better to start from the biginning to do things right rather than clean trud that doesn't wants to go.

If there are resonable admin on wikipedia review he should undelete the page and unremove my temorary ban as I got rather fustrated when I found my article got deleted restulting me landing in an edit war. But I dont expect since Im on wikipediareview I dont think any admins are here but I have point out at on of wikipedia is major flawns. Bigger is not always better.

ps. any one what to rewert to the latest edit of mine on mine user talk page over therehttp://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:DoctorHver&oldid=373297015 Im seriosly taking the piss out of the wikipedia on there.

As I see it, you tried to create the (miscapitalized) List of american animated feature films, and when someone tried to explain that the more logical thing to do would be to make the existing list sortable by country, you demanded it be deleted because it "hinders production of article crated for per individual country". I'm not sure why the world needs a "list of animated feature length films", but if they're going to have one, then to me their way sounds more sensible than yours.

This is a subject where I have more than a passing knowledge. If anyone at the mothership would like to make these edits in this article:

1. Under 1937, please remove "Academy Award Review of Walt Disney Cartoons" -- it is not a feature film (the article even says as much).

2. Under 1941, please remove "Woody Woodpecker" -- there was no feature film that year (or any year) with that title.

3. Under 1952, please change "The Shepherdess and the Chimneysweep" to "Le Roi et l'oiseau" (the French title is the correct one).

There are also plenty of made-for-TV films in that mix, which is confusing. It would make sense if there was a theatrical list and TV/direct-to-video list.

No, bigger isnot always better. And there is big difference between American animation and the rest of the World so making list focusing only on American Animated feature film is a logical thing to do just explain the history of them further by themself. The original guy that nominated the article actally didn't have any valid argument other calming it was redundant I explained by point and other guy that voted delete seemd favorited my argument but still when on with deletion not very logical thing to do.

1. Newer shaw that compilation listed anywere but there as it shouldn't be seen on any animated feature list as there is nothing new in this film.

2. There were several shorts in 1940-1972 featuring the famous Woodpecker, but no feature, just to futher my case against the article.

3. I personally don't care about none-USA products but this furthers the point that it is confusing page to list forgain film sometimes under its original native title and in other case list it under english title.

4. The main reason why this list is unusable.

Well, the title cited on the list is wrong -- the film is not known in English by that title. And you should care about it, because it is a great movie. The English-dubbed version, called "The Curious Adventures of Mr. Wonderbird," is available online and should be seen.

As strange as it sound Im not American. But I do finds American products been above anything else and the only watchable animation I would even take Daffy Speedy shorts before watching some of the best know Japan animie features but that is just me , so it's astonishing that no list for them alone, anywere (Internet as whole).
