Lynda Resnick

Take a close look at it. On 16 Feb 2009, an already-lengthy BLP was posted in one shot by StJenna (T-C-L-K-R-D) .
Who then proceeded to add even more blatantly positive statements about Resnick.

StJenna also spent a lot of time rewriting articles about two of Resnick's more notorious businesses, Fiji Water and POM Wonderful. Plus making Franklin Mint, another Resnick property, seem less unpleasant.....

More recently, a "different" user, one Retran (T-C-L-K-R-D) , has spent a lot of time making the Resnick BLP apparently "more neutral", while removing a few nasties.
And has done much the same for the POM Wonderful and Fiji Water articles, oddly enough.

(Retran also spent some time editing SonicWALL, btw. A rather obscure company.)

Just for your information: Stewart and Lynda Resnick are notorious Beverly Hills billionaires. They are inveterate philanthropists and have deep involvement with various liberal-leaning charities and groups in Los Angeles. Thus. They are also good friends with a long list of Hollywood plutocrats and powerful California politicians, including Jerry Brown (to whom they recently gave $50,000), their BFF Senator Dianne Feinstein, and Governor Schwarzenegger. A more complete list of their political contributions is here. In short, they are connected.

However, they are also developing a reputation for sleazy business dealings.
A good example: this notorious Mother Jones article about Fiji Water and the Resnicks' management thereof.

Plus, Lynda's advertising campaigns often try to claim drug-like health benefits for POM pomegranate juice.
Which recently resulted in a legal threat from the FDA. Much bad publicity was had by Lynda.

Not everyone loves the Resnicks. As major Central Valley growers, they spread their money around to control
federal irrigation water, a popular game among the large corporate farmers who grow in parts of California
that would otherwise be dry desert.

Read this, this, this, this and this for more examples of their dirty business/political dealings.

None of which appear to be mentioned in Lynda Resnick's BLP at present. Odd, eh?
One has to wonder if StJenna and Retran are PR shills working for the Resnicks, mmmkay?

I used to work about 2.2 miles from The Franklin Mint. Perhaps the Examiner should look into this.
