It seems that it doesn't take much to generate drama.
He's being defamed on a blog, which lists his face and the allegations of him being a serious offender to kids. The kind wikipediots are linking his unlogged edits to his old account, even though nobody is required to have an account to edit.
The current trend of laws mediating cyberspace conduct in USA is favorable to idiots who want to post bullshit on blogs, due to the presence of the first amendment, which stretches freedom of speech quite a lot. I think most people here would agree that Jack Merridew is among the more annoying editors on WMF and that it would be good all round (including for him) if he kept quiet.
