Full Version: Instant archiving web cites?

Can anyone give me tips about how to instantly archive web cites. I've been trying Wayback, but in fact it seems to take months for an archive actually to be created that can be quoted and I can't see myself checking when my cites eventually get archived and going back to them to note the archive.

Yet the French wiki's editors seems to get their web cites archived the day they cite them.

What's the trick? Help appreciated.

Have you tried WebCitation.org?

Have you tried WebCitation.org?

Webcitation.org is good, but it has unexpected week-long downtime sometimes. The archiving is on-demand though, and it is the best that I have found.
