Why blame "kids born after 1992"? I hate to be ungallant, but I'd be surprised if say Alison is that young, or Krimpet, or any of the other high-profile stalking victims we've had on Wikipedia. And even when considering children, it's often their parents' faults. I haven't checked, but is it a certain Miss W-- who posted stuff about herself all over the place to be picked up by a Mr. G-- K--? My inclination is to blame her father, Mr. J-- W--, who really should have known better.

You will just have to accept that if you give personal data to strangers, or if you leave personal data scattered somewhere where there isn't any option to delete permanently, some strangers may be tempted to use it to mess with you. It's arguable that these days it might be impossible to not be plastered somewhere online beyond our control. Most of the newer generations don't understand this concept, and some people over those ages don't get it as well.
Then, keep complaining when your daughter gets naked for the camera on Omegle, and then the other guy scatters the photos on Faceborg.

And Faceborg and Gugle are taxed by the U.S. government, while Wikipediotia is not taxed and is viewed as serious business by uninformed people.
