What if we could build a rival to MediaWiki? To implement a true WikiAbuse, we need to break free of much Wikipedia influence. We first need to implement a wiki in Perl and use Git to make the data easy to download. We could use BSDs instead of Linux. That would put a surefire end to tainting the wiki by the legacy of crossover between Linux and Wikipedia communities. Leave the userland as GNU. One of the reasons WikiAbuse died early was a poor ragtag management and a small workforce. If this WikiAbuse had these capabilities, the content could have been mirrored to another site and the settings could be replicated. The only thing that can't be replicated is the users.

Yea, because whenever I see a bad driver, my first thought is "hey, why don't we change the car?"

In fact, the car is made by the driver. (Driver = WMF, Car =MediaWiki).
