I was thinking about starting a thread here, read his blog earlier today. For all the people that don't check Wikipedia regularly (so that's like, 3 of you?), I basically lied

about my stance to prove a point; that the WIkipedia will freely allow prejudiced speech to flourish there, as long as one follows the letter of the wiki-law.

I even apologized to Sandifer on his blog, as I did kinda slag him directly during this as part of the subterfuge.
Retrospect
This is unbelievable fuckwittery. There are hundreds if not thousands of articles which have titles not corresponding to people's preferred names but using what some twit thinks is their correct name. For example Bernard Weatherill always insisted on being called "Jack", as is noted halfway through the article. If they say that they're using his "real official" name (and Bradley Manning is still the "real official" name), it's Bruce Bernard Weatherill, Baron Weatherill.
