When I archived the pages I saved them in the "print version" mode

You get this in proboards by clicking the "print page" button - it DOESNT print the page but instead displays a low graphics versionm of the page suitable for copy pasting into text here

Use Internet Explorer when copying the text (dont have to view this forum in IE tho) because Firefox doesn't paste the ----------------------------- bits (HR's) for some reason, it ignores them when copying for pasting I found

Hmm. Guess I won't be able to contribute to this one, then. (I'm running Linux, and Internet Explorer doesn't like Linux. Although I could try Epiphany...)

Also, would it be possible to create a seperate, locked, forum for these archives? It would seem a bit neater to me that way.

If you want, I was thinking people might want to reply to previous topics tho? Up to you

as for the posts, I dunno - other things than Internet Explorer might work, I just know Firefox doesn't paste the line breaks.

try copy pasting a topic in "print" mode into notepad or a text box here. if there are ------------- seperators for the posts it works if not try something else smile.gif
