It looks like the author may have confused User:Betacommand with User:BetacommandBot, assuming there really is a difference between the two...

The real dispute over the Gerry_Adams article was between User:One_Night_in_Hackney and User:Gaillimh, or so I thought. Betacommand did this revert, and protected the page, but wasn't really one of the original antagonists, AFAIK.

I could be wrong, of course.
