Article found, its about "Lies on the Internet" and touches several "lying" problems, it touches one source specifically:

«Sammelsurium» Wikipedia

Translation:

"Hodgepodge" Wikipedia

Even people who turn to serious sites like Wikipedia.org, can get badly tricked. The achilles heel of this successful web-research site is also its early strength: That anyone can build this digital cathedral of knowledge. For example "Weltwoche" editor in chief Roger Köppel removed parts of his bio that he didn't like in the article about himself. (Note: Weltwoche is a slightly right leaning weekly paper, it attempts to give all positions a voice (the whole political spectrum)) "Brockhouse" representative Klaus Holoch called the Online encyclopedia, founded in 2001, a "hodgepodge" and a "place to get ideas" (as opposed to getting research). The relevant research site being the "Brockhaus" which is worked on by experts only. This is a competitor of wikipedia speaking of course. Brockhaus has announced its shift towards more web usability. (Note: Brockhaus is THE encyclopedia printer/creator etc in German)

Wikipedia is well aware of its weaknesses. In touchy areas, like articles about health, it warns users about trusting the entries all that much: "You should never use information from wikipedia as the sole source for decisions about health related topics"

Hodgpodge is a great word. One of my favorites.

Synonyms inlcude Mish-Mash, Jibberish, Gallimaufrey, and Kauderwelsch.

So, for example, the German Wikipedia might be criticised as Frachtwaggons von Kauderwelsch (Boxcars of Jibberish).
