I think the "Wikipedia" trademark is definitely in danger of "genericide", with so many articles around pertaining to things that are not in any way Wikimedia Foundation projects that have headlines talking about "The Wikipedia of [something]" or "A [something] version of Wikipedia". That could be worse, legally speaking, than the status of "Google"; their trademark lawyers are worried about people informally referring to "Googling something", but at least most of the time that does actually refer to searching specifically on the Google ® brand search engine. Many of the informal references to "a Wikipedia" are about things that are from completely different sources than the actual Wikipedia.
