I saw this this morning - and thought it was interesting.....

I'm not sure about the 'latest news' aspects of Wikipedia which the article mentions as a great strength (it's certainly not the role of a traditional encyclopedia, I guess...) - I know a lot of this is sort of re-hashed material.. but I wonder if it represents a growing understanding of both that nature of and the issues facing Wikipedia in some quarters?

Thanks for pointing this out, Peter. It does seem to reflect at least one reporter's better-than-average understanding of what can go wrong.

Editorially, I disliked his use of the word "Wiki" to refer to Wikipedia, as well as the "early adaptors" which should have been "early adoptors".
