It's an interesting article. I don't doubt that there are a lot of PR people on it - see for example this user.

The clear winner in the "hot politician" contest is still Argentine president Cristina Kirchner.

A politician that actually looks human!

What about Katie Price? She once stood for Parliament so she's a sort of politician.

I don't think WR regulars would consider her hot, as they universally despise enormous, fake boobs (one of several reasons I don't quite fit in around here).

Both are babes, or were recently babes. No complaints with either.

Miniscule fake boobs are worse.

A shame that guy retired; looks like he did good work.

Agreed, but it is probably for the best that this editor leave. Otherwise, this editor would get too much attention to every single edit he makes and it would give support to the myth that the GOP is trying to control Palin's entry. Other than this article, no one else seems to mention that most of this editor's edits have already been overwritten.

I do think 'youngtrigg' was some sort of fan rather than employed by a campaign team. If they were paid to make a good job of the wiki entry in Palin's favour, wouldn't they have chosen a neutral name so as not to draw attention to their bias?

If the GOP wanted to control Palin's entry someone would have said on a GOP leaning message board that Palin's entry on Wikipedia was being editing by members of the Democratic party and that these errors should be corrected. (i.e. something similar to what DailyKos did.)

You all should read the talk page on her article. It's a full blown war. I'm not going to touch it again myself for a while. Its getting too nasty.

That's why I prefer doing articles other than current events, especially big profile ones. Hard to keep up, and often no trace of your edits remain.
