Man, this is a disaster waiting to happen.
"Somebody" created the article using standard copy off of the candidates website. Already in the talkpage, you have a comment which throws oil on the fire :

Somebody really has a bee in his bonnet....and the local press seems to have noticed.
Surely there are better ways to go about "fixing" this sort of problem???
