Peer governance and Wikipedia (1)

I am going to reproduce here parts of my paper “Peer governance and Wikipedia”. The following text deals with some tentative proposals regarding the problematic side of Wikipedia’s governance, departing from the battle between inclusionists and deletionists.

if someone wanted to fork that over to Wikademia it would be appreciated. I am the originator and principle author

and P2P

that would go on Wikademia too if you are feeling generous with your free culture time donations.

Thanks....

It all sounds nice in theory.

Vasilis Kostakis has now published the first of three peer-reviewed articles as previewed above.

In First Monday, a peer-reviewed journal on the Internet, one may now find this article:

Wikipedia has been hailed as one of the most prominent peer projects that led to the rise of the concept of peer governance. However, criticism has been levelled against Wikipedia’s mode of governance. This paper, using the Wikipedia case as a point of departure and building upon the conflict between inclusionists and deletionists, tries to identify and draw some conclusions on the problematic issue of peer governance.

"Inclusionist v Deletonist" is shorthand for "I have no idea at all concerning Wikipedia."
