How does User:72.186.98.163 not get blocked, even while inserting and re-inserting the "cover up" information, and even telling a barnstar-encrusted old-timer to "Mind your own business idiot"?

But, I was banned for writing non-paid articles like Arch Coal?

I just don't get it.

That's an autoblock (block automagically placed on IP because it was used by a blocked user) rather than a rangeblock.

The user that triggered the autoblock was seemingly blocked for trying to game autoconfirmed...
