Getting lectured on cyber civility by Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales is a bit like listening to a Ku Klux Klan leader talk about how to improve race ...

This link, actually. The site itself appears to be a little wacked confused.gif but they do have an interesting link to some vandalism done to their own WP article, calling the founder a "Zionist Twit" and "Jew Loving Pig" angry.gif While I personally think this guy is a rather unsavory character, his BLP appears to be getting hit rather badly. Fortunately, it's now been prot'd for a year by someone else.

Wikipedia's profile page for me has alternately claimed I am "homophobic," a "conspiracy theorist," "white supremacist," a "proud member of the Ku Klux Klan," a "religious nutcase" and "a pioneer in the political uses of psychedelics."

i find that last little lie there a tad bit funny. i hope he does too. laugh.gif laugh.gif wub.gif

that was a quote from the article, btw.

I am actively investigating both a personal defamation case against Wikipedia as well as a class-action lawsuit by other victims of its putrid accusations and shocking untruths

good for him! and the class action... what a clever idea... forcibly get flagged revisions made live for BLP's . i hope they don't just go after money, because in theory, I think Wikipedia is for the most part (at least like 30-50%) a noble endeavor.
