Some interesting conclusions from "Who's On Wikipedia" Part 5, for those of you who might be interested. Only 30% of Wikipedia BLPs have a counterpart somewhere on paper (in biographical dictionaries, other encyclopedias, Who's Whos, etc.).
Another particularly interesting fact is this: 7% of Wikipedia BLPs are for people who are at least mentioned in Britannica. These 7% of BLPs draw 71% of all BLP-related page views. Read all about it and more over at On Wikipedia.

Now, what about that idea that if we made a dead tree standard for BLPs, it would drive away so many people away from WP, that it would crumble and fail? That other websites would pick up the remainder and use them to destroy WP by drawing away all WP's readers.
