Examiner.com is holding a "Readers' Choice" poll, to find the best news stories on the site in 2010. For some strange reason, the Examiner editorial staff have snubbed my work in their own selection of top stories. So, we have no choice but to flood them with our write-ins. I hope that you'll take 30 to 90 seconds to vote for a few of my journalistic creations, if you'll be kind enough to do so.

What do you get out of it? Every link you submit as a nomination will earn you another entry in a drawing for ten $100 gift cards. But the contest ends at 6:00 PM Eastern, December 31st. So please HURRY!

As a convenience to you, I'm providing 10 links for you to copy the URL and submit it in your ballot. If you only have 30 seconds, just paste in 1 or 2 of the links (from the top, please). If you have 90 seconds -- and want 10 entries into the drawing -- copy and paste all 10 URLs. To help me, go to:

Shouldn't we vote for at least one non-Wikipedia story, so, you know, they won't suspect an "offsite canvassing" campaign?

Wait a minute, I guess that's not something they worry about on normal websites... sorry, I wasn't thinking there for a bit.

Grasshopper, you're learning.

Okay Greg, I posted your links. Don't forget to canvass anywhere you can think of.

Done.

Thanks, everyone...

My friends and family are also doing this for me. It'll be interesting to see if my top one or two make it into the Readers' Choice finals.

I wonder who the haters are on this site, giving this thread "one star" ratings?

I nominated one article, but can you figure out which one I would have found most appealing and worth nominating?

I've seen it on quite a few threads of which you are the OP.

Okay, I voted already … now get your butt back over to Wikipedia Review and FIXIT already … it's been down for a week now.

Pretty please …

Thing is, it's not down for everyone. It's still working for some. We're experiencing a massive spam-bot assault, and we're trying to see if we can limit (or slow) access for them, while letting through the "good guys". Sorry!
