The original commentary in Slate may be worth discussion.

That's a brilliantly done little column. Nice metaphorical parallels between the growth of the Jesus article on WP, and the growth of Christianity itself. With asides on the growth of Wikipedia. Then the writer ran out of time and room, but the contrasts and parallels in the meantime, are VERY funny.
