Well, what do you know? Jimbo coming to the rescue of an attractive brunette whose reputation as an unbalanced individual precedes her.

I wonder if anyone has ever done any sort of statistical analysis of Jimbo's article-oriented habits?

I mean, why on heaven's earth would Jimmy Wales be so interested in Amanda Knox?

Jimbo, like Durova, longs to be a warrior in shining armor.

Alas, both of them lack the 'nads to do the actual job, even if it were available. Only the e-version remains.

Did you ever see the suit of armor the grossly obese Henry VIII had made for himself, late in his life? It's hilarious-- one of the better things I saw in the Tower of London years ago. But if it makes the king feel better, who's not going to help him indulge his fantasies?

Jimbo assures a critic that he "did not start a mess" and that "the article is improving".

That's a tautology, isn't it? Wikipedia is always improving, and quickly.

I'm supportive. I think the Italians are moving rather more quickly than we would, and making a more dramatic gesture than we would, but that's ok: they're Italians and that's awesome. Their interpretation of the law is correct, based on reports I have from various people, and so it's worthwhile to make the point really BIG in Italy, and around the world: freedom of expression matters, if the world wants to have Wikipedia.--Jimbo Wales (talk) 21:51, 4 October 2011 (UTC)

Because, you know, "they're Italians and that's awesome". Yup, lots of hot brunettes in Italy. evilgrin.gif

There's one more brunette who was freed from an Italian jail this week. I wonder if Jimbo has sent her a note yet?

Isn't it interesting, too, that because of Wikipedia's BLP1E rule, Amanda Knox can't have a biography of her own, but that she'll forever be remembered on Wikipedia thanks to a redirect to Murder of Meredith Kercher, even though Knox was acquitted of that criminal charge?

I think he will end up offering her a Staff position.

Of course, Jimbo may have seen a photo of Stephanie Kercher, Meredith's sister, who is also young and brunette, and is possibly more accessible to Jimmy, being in England and less involved in a media hoo-ha. Would that conceivably sway Jimmy's opinion against Amanda Knox? Surely not! huh.gif
