It's not about Wikipedia specifically, but has implications surrounding the Section 230 protection that Wikipedia enjoys.

Judge tosses date-dissing Web suit

I find it amazing that if you live in Pennsylvania and a site based in Florida allows unsubstantiated comments that you are questioned in your sexuality and that you have tried to dodge paying child support, you have to find a way to bring suit in the state of Florida, even if the contributors to that site may live in Pennsylvania.

I certainly hope that Todd Hollis continues to press this case into the Sunshine State. Might serve as a good measuring stick for another Florida-based organization.

Many states' "long arm" jurisdictional statutes/court rules often extend to such claims. I don't know about Pennsylvania--it maybe it's just another example of a guy in a black dress looking for an excuse to get rid of an "icky" case.
